Conference game

1st half
We started the game a bit slow. We looked slightly sluggish through the 1st few minutes. Winamac did a great job of making it difficult to string passes together for any meaningful possessions. We played ourselves into a funk and let the pressure, circumstances, and calls influence our mind set. Luckily, we pulled ourselves out of it with a goal. Braden Breed put us up, and given our play, it was desperately needed to calm us down. Not the best half, but we went to half with a lead.

2nd half
The 2nd saw us play better than the 1st half. Our link up play was more evident, we played with more confidence, and we didn’t rush as many touches as we had in the 1st. Thankfully Braden and Noah Howdeshell connected with a wall pass that Noah put past the keeper to put us 2 goals. Noah Roger’s scored the last goal to cap our score sheet for this game and the regular season.

We played well enough to win a conference game away. The kids dug in, and gritted out the win, and won themselves a conference championship. I’m very proud of this team. They’ve worked hard all season and it is great that their efforts have been awarded with a trophy. Hats off! Well deserved! A special thanks to everyone that has helped us in our campaign this season. WE appreciate you, and We share our successes with YOU!
